My Best Friend's Wedding Cake

I borrowed these photos from my best friend and this is her wedding cake.
I love the simple and dainty pink accents in it.

She got married last month in the Philippines. I also love the ambiance
of this place and the wedding decorations.

Our Bunnies

Hubby and I have the same birthdays and are both Gemini Rabbits. That explains the
collection of bunnies.

You think I will name my bunnies like a kid? Definitely! (hehehe ) The photo above
shows smiling Celeste. While Crystal and Rosey are posing below.

Pinky (above) and Luke (below) also wanted their photos taken.

All together now with Duchy (brown rabbit). Smile!

It's hard to remember all their names, so we decided not to buy bunnies anymore.
Already one big happy bunny family.
Don't be alarmed if I sound crazy, it's just the kid in me.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and Waterfall is located at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco.

Our Leviathan Ulysses

This is our Leviathan Ulysses. He is a fiddler crab. We call him Levi for short. He's not a sea monster but he waves his big claw at us sometimes, seemingly challenging us.

Hubby loved reading Ulysses, so that's where we got the second name. We couldn't decide which we liked better, so the two names stuck.

"A fiddler crab, sometimes known as a calling crab, is named for the fiddle-shaped large claw present on males. This entire group is comprised of small crabs – the largest being slightly over two inches across. Fiddler crabs are found along sea beaches and brackish inter-tidal mud flats, lagoons and swamps."- wikipedia.org

We're trying to look for a female fiddler crab so he will have company.

"Fiddler crabs are easily recognized by their distinctively asymmetric claws. It is the males which boast an oversized claw or cheliped; it plays a role in courtship and signaling among conspecifics.

The movement of the smaller claw from ground to mouth during feeding inspired the crabs' common name; it appears as if the animal is playing the larger claw like a fiddle. The crab's smaller claw picks up a chunk of sediment and brings it to the mouth, where its contents are sifted through."- wikipedia.org

I'm so happy and blessed today! I'm thankful for loved ones who are very supportive and keeps on believing in me; for friends who care; and photo bloggers to share photos with. That just makes me smile and giddy with joy!
